PARAMEDIC
(Full or Part Time)
Administers first aid treatment/basic life support (BLS) and advanced life support
(ALS) when indicated to and transports sick or injured persons to an appropriate
medical facility, working as a member of the emergency medical team, by performing
the following duties and complying with Colorado Board of Health Rules and Denver
Metropolitan EMT-Paramedic protocols.

Must be at least 21 years old.

Must be Colorado State certified EMT-P

Must have and maintain current CPR and ACLS certification

Must pass pre-qualification tests

Must have a valid Colorado State drivers’ license, good driving record, and clear criminal record.

One-year previous EMT-B experience and some Paramedic experience preferred
-
High School diploma or general education degree (GED), and college credit/degree
preferred
-
PALS, PHTLS/ITLS and 12 lead EKG course preferred
-
Must pass NEOP/CEVO II and field clearance

EMS
Dispatcher
(Part Time)
Responsibilities for this position include accuracy in managing and dispatching
system resources, coordination of public safety incidents, processing of 911 calls,
facility transport coordination, administrative call taking and radio operation.
Detail oriented with a high accuracy rate and an ability to learn geography, streets
and territorial assignments.Must be
willing to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays.
The environment is team driven and customer service oriented.
