Rural/Metro Corporation has been in the business of providing emergency services in the United States for over 50 years. We currently provide medical transportation and fire protection services in 400 communities across the US, from Washington to Florida.
Rural/Metro of Colorado, more commonly known as Rural/Metro Ambulance, has provided emergency and non-emergency medical transportation since 1998. We are the exclusive 911 ambulance provider for the City of Aurora through a partnership with the Aurora Fire Department. We also provide 911 backup ambulance service for the City of Littleton, Littleton Fire Protection District, and Highlands Ranch through a partnership with Littleton Fire Rescue. Rural/Metro provides non-emergent medical transportation throughout the greater Denver Metro area. However, we also accommodate out-of-state transports to serve the Rocky Mountain states. Rural/Metro is the preferred in-network provider for United Health Care/PacifiCare/Secure Horizons managed care organization. We also support many community activities throughout the greater Denver area to provide emergent, non-emergent and event medical standby services.
